April and May 2017 means springtime and that means Spring Ball. RANGA TANK Founder/CEO has spearheaded a Lacrosse and Aikido clinic on the Paiute Reservation Community Center in Big Pine, CA. According to Bob Marley, "You have to know where you're coming from to know where you're going." Paiute Country is an important stop this path that includes Panama and hopefully Scotland.

"The kids take to the sport like fish to water. Some are frogs."

Some of the moms even participate, which is badass. Aikido is the most pacifist of the martial arts. It involves no initiation, just turning the opponent's venom against them. There is a huge staff and sword component which is supplemented with a crosse. Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba pledged Aikido to be a force to create "One Human Family."

Here, Logan Spratt ruins an otherwise blurry picture with a crazy hand gesture.

"He's my protege."

Learning Aikido through the vehicle of Lacrosse is a cool process. Cross-pollination between communities is the goal. There is an Aikido hub in Tahoe, and a Youth and Masters Lacrosse league in the Eastern Sierran realm.

This clinic is sponsored by TANF.
